Villa Aman FAQs
Villa Aman is located on Flagstaff Hill in Port Douglas. It is a short 10-minute walk to local restaurants, shops and the beach.
Check in is available from 2:00pm on the day of arrival and check out is at 11:00am on the day of departure. Departure after 11:00am is subject to additional charges and is subject to availability.
Villa Aman is inclusive of a full clean service every 4 days. Additional housekeeping service is available at an additional cost.
There is no manager on-site at Villa Aman, you have exclusive, private use. There is a manager available during your stay should you have any questions or need assistance. These details will be provided to you prior to your arrival.
Yes, all necessary linen is supplied including bedding, bathroom towels and pool/beach towels.
We are committed to reducing single use plastics and for your convenience have supplied 500ml Leif bathroom amenities for use during your stay. These beautiful products must remain at the property after your departure.
A supply of sunscreen and insect repellent is available on the lower level in the pool amenities basket.
A small amount of kitchen amenities and pantry basics are supplied including, tea, coffee, salt, pepper, oil, and condiments.
Dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, cloths and a scourer are provided in the kitchen for your use. Additionally, laundry detergent is provided in the cupboard below the laundry sink.
The kitchen is equipped with all necessary cooking facilities, fridge-freezer with builtin ice maker as well as an ice maker in the wet-bar. There is a Nespresso machine and a Miele inbuilt coffee machine, and dishwasher for easy clean up.
The laundry includes a washer, air-dryer, laundry basket, clothes line with pegs and there are 3 irons and ironing boards available.
For your convenience hair dryers are supplied in each bathroom and umbrellas are available by the front door should you require them.
Villa Aman internet is provided via NBN with a back up 4G service. The passwords for wifi are supplied on arrival. Please note that all efforts have been made to make this free service fast and reliable, however due to the regional location of Far North Queensland, the speed and reliability may not be what is experienced in major capital cities.
JBL bluetooth speakers have been supplied in each bedroom, as well as the main living room, wet bar, day lounge and TV entertainment areas for you to listen to your own personal music selection. Additionally a tablet with the Villa Aman Spotify has been supplied in the main living room.
The lower entertainment room is equipped with a smart TV with local free-to-air apps installed, together with most streaming apps. The TV also has full connectivity to USB, HDMI and RGB ports. If you log into your personal streaming service, please remember to log out when you leave for your privacy and security.
Books, games and magazines are available for your use in the library.
There is a strict no smoking policy indoors. This includes all eCigarettes and vaping. Please feel free to smoke outside with the internal doors closed. We kindly ask that you dispose of your cigarette butts thoughtfully.
Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at Villa Aman. The only exceptions are designated assistance or service dogs. If you bring pets on the property, you will forfeit your bond.
Villa Aman contains numerous staircases with handrails to access various living and entertainment areas. As such it may not be suitable for those with accessibility needs. Please contact us to discuss your needs if you have any concerns.
