Villa Aman is the result of four years of architectural design, planning & construction culminating in a Master Builders award winning luxury residence. Due to the busy commitments of its former owners, Villa Aman has never been lived in or open to the public for holiday rental.
Now for the first time in its history, after some tender loving care by its new owners, with an interior update by award winning and long-term collaborator, interior designer Louise Walsh, Villa Aman now throws open its doors to what must be one of Queensland’s most remarkable holiday homes.
Renaming the property to Villa Aman, we sought to find the perfect word to capture the essence of the Villa and its grounds. Aman represents the peace, tranquillity, and the feeling of serenity and safety, once you step inside its confines. From a variety of languages, African, Arabic, Hindu to Sanskrit, Aman is universal in its meaning.

Villa Aman is nestled among the treetops in the peaceful surrounds of Flagstaff Hill in Port Douglas.
Offering complete privacy & seclusion, with captivating panoramic views of land and sea, its unique, outstanding architectural design by Gary Hunt, was created in harmony with the natural elements of land & sea that surround it, connecting it seamlessly with nature.
Water is a key feature in the design through a series of cascading waterfalls & ponds. The house has been built on three levels with a central atrium. The spacious formal & informal living areas are ideal for both relaxation & entertaining.
